We hope that everyone has a great time this weekend for Bonfire Night!
The amazing firework displays that will be running over the weekend will attract plenty of people. Please stay safe when celebrating, and also keep an eye out for an increased number of vulnerable road users when driving over the weekend. Expect to see more pedestrians than usual, especially near firework displays.
With the clocks going backwards as well, you will have noticed it is getting darker much sooner. Please make sure all your front and rear lights are functional, and that you keep your windscreen clean and clear to avoid being dazzled by lights. Pedestrians will also be harder to spot in the dark, so always make sure you are going at an appropriate speed for your environment to ensure you have time to spot any vulnerable road users.
