Fleetmaster appear on National TV
Fleetmaster were delighted recently to be chosen by TV news channel GB News for the location of a feature they were running on the national HGV driver shortage.
The filming took place at Fleetmaster’s Driving Academy located at their DVSA approved Test Centre at Dewsbury Rams Stadium in West Yorkshire. In addition to discussing the driver shortage the feature also highlighted the recent Government change in the HGV test as you can now jump from car licence (Cat B) straight to Artic Lorry (Cat CE).
Local MP for Dewsbury Mark Eastwood was also interviewed in the feature regarding the HGV shortage and GB News Yorkshire reporter Anna Riley had an attempt at reversing an articulated lorry at the Fleetmaster test centre.
