As restrictions end now is the time to assess your Fleet’s Driver Training requirements

Dated: 11 May, 2021

Following the latest Government announcements in vehicle driver training is now allowed. As a result of the restrictions in the last year much driver training had been put on hold meaning some drivers are not up to date with training. Now is the time to assess your Fleet’s requirements so that your drivers remain safe and compliant.

In recent weeks Fleetmaster has seen significant increase in activity as companies start to return to more normal times. There are also now significant demands for DVSA Tests as these have not been taking place in recent months due to Government restrictions. We would advise all Fleet Managers to start planning what training is required as soon as possible in order that they remain compliant and are not affected by delays.

We at Fleetmaster are leading industry experts in Driver Risk Management and can work with you to reduce your risk and have a range of courses available including the option to write bespoke training around your needs. Some of the courses we have include:

Advanced Driving                                           New Starters

Speed Awareness                                           Winter Driving

Post Incident/Remedial training                    Assessment Drive

Electric Vehicle                                               Driver CPC

Licence Upgrades (Cat C, C1, B+E)               Vehicle Familiarisation

We deliver training to a very high standards and fully Covid secure but do not just take our word for it, here is a quote from one of our customers Steve Winter Head of Fleet at British Gas/Centrica.

“At Centrica we have worked with Fleetmaster for in excess of 15 years as our Driver Training provider. Not only do they do a very efficient and professional job with all our on-road training through a variety of accredited courses, but they also write bespoke interactive classroom sessions to fit in with the focus and priorities of the road safety ethos within our business. At the end of any course a feedback form is completed, and most of our drivers comment on how interesting, informative and helpful they are in improving personal road safety.”
